Heritage Tour
Cultural heritage is the legacy of physical artifacts and intangible characteristics of a group or society, inherited from previous generations, maintained in the present and best for the benefit of future generations. The cultural heritage of Nepal is still alive and dynamic. UNESCO has declared 10 World Heritage Sites in Nepal out of which 7 sites are inside Kathmandu Valley and 3 are outside; Lumbini, including the Kathmandu Valley, has Cultural Heritage, Chitwan National Park and Sagarmatha National Park as natural Nepal heritage travel sites. These seven World Heritage Sites are all amazing man-made wonders that still stand prominently. Some of them are 2500 years old and are devastated by an earthquake which caused a lot of damage to heritage sites and human assets on 24 April 2015. The sites that were damaged during the earthquake are Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath and Patan Durbar Square.
The tour offers you some spectacularly quiet mountainous regions of Nepal, close to the snow-capped mountains, making it easy to absorb the cultural and natural beauty of the surrounding area. Relaxing bhajans at cultural sites and the tranquility of lush green forests and towering mountains at the same time is exhilarating and enjoyable. During this tour, you will go through the court squares, the old paths of the three of them and witness how time has stopped in these areas. Head towards the Swayambhunath Temple and enjoy a panoramic view of the Himalayas through Tibetan hymns. Spend an evening at Budhanath Stupa, the monumental grandeur of the monument, and the feeling of calm in the air around it is truly rejuvenating. Travel to national parks, and enjoy nature, only in itself, non-existent. The tour is specifically offered to all cultural world heritage sites in Nepal with the added facility of spending two nights at the Chitwan National Park, a natural world heritage site.
